The challenge
15min Group had been relying on aging, on-premise infrastructure, which was becoming increasingly inefficient, costly, and unable to scale effectively. This outdated infrastructure posed significant challenges to ensuring high availability, operational efficiency, and support for modern workloads. The organization required a robust infrastructure solution to meet a changing environment.
The solution
The solution focused on three main areas:
Infrastructure Assessment: Evaluated the existing on-premise infrastructure to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities.
Landing Zone Creation: Built secure, scalable, and compliant cloud landing zones on Google Cloud.
Infrastructure Optimization: Deployed auto-scaling mechanisms, robust networking configurations, and monitoring tools.
The result
The modernized infrastructure is now running on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), providing improved performance and scalability. The infrastructure ensures high availability with over 99.9% uptime and can automatically scale to handle traffic increases. Multi-zone deployments and backup systems make the infrastructure more resilient and reduce downtime risks.
